The archaeological field school is not a residential program. All lodging is the responsibility of the individual participant.

University residence hall accommodations may be available for field school students. Please note that all accommodations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and room types will be assigned based on availability. If you are interested in staying in a residence hall, we recommend contacting the housing office immediately upon your acceptance at 814-865-7501.

Students who submit contracts are obligated to the housing contract for the length of time specified unless they withdraw from the program. View the housing rates page for the cost per person for the various residence hall options. There are a variety of hotels near the Penn State campus, many of which are listed on the Lion Country Lodging website.
